LATEST NEWS

COSA published their decision on 29 March 2018. They agreed with Judge Welch that Adnan should have a new trial, although they had different reasons.
On May 14th, the State submitted a request to the Court of Appeals, called a petition for writ of certiorari (a request to make an appeal, not the appeal itself) and on May 29th Adnan submitted a response opposing the request. The State filed their response on June 15th but we don't have a copy.

COA judges are likely to decide at the end of July, and we should hear by Monday, July 30th. If CoA do agree to take the case they will make a decision on the actuall appeal by August 2019 at the latest.
